The 650-hectare Palace Park adjoins Het Loo Palace and surrounds
Oude Loo
Castle. It has long provided relaxation and diversion to
the royal residents of Het Loo and their guests. It's a beautiful
natural setting enriched with elements of cultural heritage:
tree-lined avenues, lawns, lakes, a bathing hut and follies, for
example. For more on the history of the Palace Park click here.
In the park there are eight walking trails ranging in length
from two to thirteen kilometres and also three routes
suitable for wheelchairs.
