Het Loo Royal Estate has much to offer visitors. There are
excellent walking routes in the Palace Park, where against the backdrop of
nature there are many fine cultural heritage features and the
influence of the House of Orange-Nassau is tangible.
The extensive Royal Forest has an excellent network
of walking trails and cycling paths. There are marked trails
varying in length from 2.5 to fourteen kilometres. The landscape
alternates between woodland and open areas. The combined area of
the Palace Park and the Royal Forest is over 10,000 hectares. This
unique area is a paradise for cyclists, walkers and nature
lovers.
